South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first on another good batting surface. The opening pair of Reeza Hendricks (28 runs) and Janneman Malan (33 runs) provided a good start with 58 runs partnership for the first wicket. PAK was poor with their plans as their bowlers were unable to pick up any wickets when they required. Fakhar Zaman continue to struggle with the bat in limited over format. The team definitely missed their allrounder Mohammad Hafeez, who misses the last two games due to an injury. The team might bring Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf in the side to avoid a clean sweep in the T20 series.

On other side South Africa will look for a whitewash against no.1 ICC T20 ranking side. Despite missing their firepower in the line up the hosts was outstanding with their plans. Proteas will look for white wash after beating Pakistan in Test and ODI comfortably.  The new skipper David Miller started brilliantly as a captain in the last game. Beuran Hendricks was good with the new ball as well as Andile Phehlukwayo in the last match. Wiaan Mulder is likely to make his debut for the national side as he is only one left to get a match.
